Marine Corps expands infantry bomb dog program

The Marine Corps is greatly expanding its experimental program that deploys infantrymen to combat zones with bomb-sniffing dogs, declaring it a successful component of the fight against the insurgents’ most lethal killer — homemade bombs dug into roads and footpaths.
